How do I submit an obituary?
Subscribers can submit an obituary for anyone through the submission form on our site. We don’t run a standard obituary; we turn it into a story in our People section, told the way this person actually lived.
What does it cost?
Free for subscribers. Non-subscribers pay a fee equal to double the monthly subscription rate for a one-time submission.
Why isn’t this a typical obituary?
Because a life deserves more than a list of survivors and service times. We write these as proper stories, with the texture and detail a good profile needs.
Advertising & Business Features
Does The Stauntonian run traditional ads?
No. We don’t sell banner space or sponsored placements. What we offer instead is a chance for subscribers to pitch their business as a story.
How does that work?
Submit your news through the form on our site and tell us why it belongs in an upcoming edition. Our staff reviews every pitch for newsworthiness and fit, the same way we’d evaluate any story idea.
What does it cost?
Free for subscribers. Non-subscribers pay a fee equal to four times the monthly subscription rate to submit a pitch for consideration.

How do I get my event listed?
Submit your event details through the form on our site. Include the date, time, location, and a short description.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Event submissions are free for anyone, subscriber or not.
Will my event definitely run?
Publication is at the discretion of the Stauntonian staff. We prioritize events that matter to the community and fit our editorial calendar.
